As the preeminent law journal dedicated to Asian American jurisprudence, we are committed to providing a forum for scholars, practitioners, and students to address legal and policy issues relevant to Asian American and Pacific Islander communities, while recognizing the diversity and intersection within these communities. Our mission is to promote excellent scholarship that promotes national understanding and empowerment of Asian Americans.

Past volumes have addressed a wide range of issues, including but not limited to, immigration policy, civil liberties, racial justice, community development, and political engagement.

All submissions must meet the following requirements:

  • Documents must be sent as a Microsoft Word attachment (.doc or .docx format).
  • Documents must be double-spaced with 12-point Times New Roman font and one-inch margins.
  • Submissions should be approximately 30 pages minimum.
  • Footnotes must be within text (i.e., incorporated at end of each page) and must conform to The Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation (22nd ed.).
